In an act of desperation, two young brothers break into a small home they believed was abandoned to steal items of value to sell to help their sick sister. They are caught in the act by a mysterious stranger and given a chance to make things right. With the aid of a Mawdjakahmen device they must perform a task with a promise, "Do this and your sister will be alright." The adventure that follows takes them to another place and another time; the Land of Zarahemla and the times of Helaman.
